Joshua Gaudin received a Bachelor of Music in Saxophone Performance with a minor in Jazz Studies from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2023 and will be receiving a Master of Music in Jazz Performance from Wayne State University in 2025. As a saxophonist, he has enjoyed an active career performing throughout the southeastern region of the United States. He is currently first call lead tenor saxophonist for the Northshore Louisiana area, featured in Sandy Cash Big Band, Ned Fasullo’s Fabulous Little Big Band, and others. He is also a prominent R&B saxophonist in the region, performing with Tyler Kinchen & The Right Pieces as the feature soloist and serving as horn section leader. He is currently the instructor of jazz combos at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
